    Run Difficulty

Our tours are graded on a 5-level difficulty scale to help you choose the right adventure for your fitness level and experience

    Level 1 - Very Easy
    Level 1

Flat or gently rolling terrain. Wide, well-maintained trail, often along rivers or through open farm land. No technical features. Very cruisy pace, ideal for beginners or recovery runs. Easy to keep a group together. Low risk, minimal gear needed.

Level 2 - Easy to Moderate
    Level 2

Slight inclines or declines, with the occasional narrow section or uneven surface. Still non-technical, but may include small hills or short climbs. Good visibility and little risk. Group pace still quite relaxed, with easy regrouping.

    Level 3 - Moderate
    Level 3

More varied terrain, with longer inclines or some steeper sections. May include mild technical elements like rocks, roots, or narrow ridgelines. Requires a bit more fitness and coordination. Still very manageable as a group, though more stop-start.

    Level 4 - Hard
    Level 4

Challenging trails with significant elevation gain and loss, steeper climbs and descents, and technical footing. Trail may be more remote. Group travel is slower and more spaced out. Need to carry some extra safety or weather gear. Ideal for more experienced trail runners.

    Level 5 - Very Hard
    Level 5

Advanced trails with lots of elevation change, technical features, and longer distances. Suitable for well-conditioned runners who are confident on varied terrain. Group movement is slower and requires careful coordination. Some extra planning and gear may be required.
